Hotlapper of The Week - Sunny (sunnysin Clary)

Sunny is part of our current Hotlaps crew :). She also hosted them once as well.
So got a chance to force her to do this interview lol

We love that you are hotlapping with us!

Ginger Henderson: How did your interest with sailing in Second Life get started?
Sunny (sunnysin Clary): I saw once after a 7seas fishing contest that people race there sailing boats around the Blake Sea and then I though wow that could be fun.

Ginger: We have seen you sailing in many Hotlaps. What do you like about them?
Sunny: A great thing about it is that you can explore an area during a full week. You meet around the start line nice people with who you can chat with as well. It's a challenge to better your time with different boats on the course.

Ginger: Any changes you would like to see with Hotlaps?
Sunny: I personally prefers the short courses like the ones which we have sailed with the laser One at the TYC a year ago.

Ginger: What time-zone in Real Life are you from?
Sunny: GMT +1

Ginger: Do you sail in Real Life as well? (But we understand if you say 'none of your business' ;))
Sunny: I live on the coast and I should do it, I will work for it.

Ginger: What are your top 3 favorite sailboats in Second Life?
Sunny: Bandit IF and the RM30 but my mood can switch and then I fall in love with a other boat over weeks.

Ginger: We seen you sailing mostly the RM30.  Been sailing this boat for long?
Sunny: It was release last summer and I got it since then, but it will need some time before I it is pleasing me.
It s fast and has a good engine so you can sail it real straight and it lays fine in the wind.

Ginger: Besides Hotlaps, do you practice with sailing a lot?
Sunny: These days I move mostly with the Hotlaps caravan to explore new areas, yeep I sail a lot-)

Ginger: When sailing, do you use any tools or settings to help you you may want to share with others? Things such as your preferred AWA on different headings and tactical choices on this weeks course like where to start from, where to tack?
Sunny: I never sail without the Compass with (WWC) Wind indicator, one of Burt s goodies, it  helps to make sailing much more easy.

Ginger: What question would you like to ask other sailors out there?
Sunny: Where have you visited the Hotlaps for the first time?

Ginger: Any other things you would like to share with others?
Sunny: Never give up to make the fastest Hotlaps round with the boat that you enjoy.

Ginger: Thank you very much for your time for this interview and looking forward to seeing you on the Second Life waters soon.  :)
